A lot of people like to dress up in military costumes for fancy dress parties.

A fancy dress army girl outfit is easy to put together when you know what to look for. The basic khaki shirt with pants or skirt can either be bought from an army surplus store or from a high street fashion store.Khaki has never gone out of style so finding a matching outfit should not be difficult to achieve. A stainless steel dog tag can also be picked up in the army surplus store or you can find an online supplier. Headgear usually comprises a cap, and again these are easy to obtain.

For footwear you should look for black or khaki socks, and preferably some brown walking boots.  If you don’t want to spend a lot of money on boots you might be able to find some in an online auction site, but if you are really stuck you could just wear some plain walking shoes or even trainers.

No-one is really going to look at your footwear, especially if your army uniform is particularly eye catching.  You don’t need to spend a lot of money to for a fancy dress army girl outfit, you can just mix and match with items you already own.
